Hello everybody, Clayton here at etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the B&W Tow & Stow three-ball ball mount on our 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500. This ball mount is available in chrome as you see here, and also black for the 2 1/2-inch receiver tube opening, and you're gonna be able to find these same options in two-inch receiver tube openings as well, being the black and the chrome. And as far as our weight capacities are concerned with our 2 1/2-inch hitch here, we are gonna be at 14,500-pound towing capacity and a 1,450-pound tongue weight rating. And in the two-inch hitch, you are gonna have a 10,000-pound towing capacity and a 1,000-pound tongue weight rating. Now you do wanna keep in mind, you need to check with your owner's manual and make sure that your vehicle is capable at towing at those capacities. Our hitch is gonna offer us a seven-inch drop or a 7 1/2-inch rise. more

Part #DTALBM6825. To help provide some extra padding for our knees when working on a hard surface, we'll be using the TruxMat, all-purpose utility mat. This mat is available and sold separately with part #TX1705064. We'll begin our test fit by first getting our hitch height. Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushion Ball Mount for 2 and a half inch hitches with a 3 inch rise or a 4 inch drop rated at 18,000 pounds, Part Number AMSCV-4. To provide some extra padding between our knees and the hard surface, we'll also be using the truck's mat, All Purpose Utility Mat, Part Number TX1705064. We'll begin our test fit by first getting our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a hitch height measurement of 21 inches. Now keep in mind that this measurement may vary depending on tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We'll grab our ball mount and slide the shank into the receiver tube of our hitch. more

We'll take the ball mount out of our bag and slide the shank into the receiver tube of our hitch, mounting it in the drop position. We'll line up the pin holes, and then, we'll install our pin and clip, which is not included. We'll measure from the ground to the top of our ball platform and get a measurement of 16 inches. more

We'll begin our test-fit by first getting our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a hitch height measurement of 21 inches. Keep in mind that this measurement may vary depending on tire size, hitch style, or after-market accessories. We'll now take our ball-mount and install it in the drop position. We'll slide the shank of our mount into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole, and install our pin and clip which is sold separately. We'll take a measurement from the ground to the top of our ball platform and get a measurement of 19 inches. When measuring your trailer ride height you want to do so when your trailer is level. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series, we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushion Ball Mount for 2-inch hitches with a 1-inch rise or a 2-inch drop, rated at 14,000 pounds, part number AMSC2HD. Before we begin our test fit, we need to first insert our hitch adapter to convert it from a class 5 to a class 3 hitch. We'll then get our hitch height, which is a measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Our hitch height measurement is 20-3/4 inches. Please keep in mind that this measurement may vary depending on tire size, hitch style, or after market accessories. We'll now take our ball mount and install it in the drop position first. We'll slide the shank of the ball mount into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up all our pin holes, and insert our pin and clip. We'll measure from the ground to the top of our ball platform and get a measurement of 19 inches. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 will be test fit in the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit with two chrome balls with the 5 1/2 inch drop, part number AM3410. This ball mount will adjust in increments of 1 inch up to a 5 1/2 inch drop and a 6 1/2 inch rise. To begin our test fit well first need to install our sleeve adapter in to the receiver tube of our hitch to convert our hitch from a class 5 to the class 3. Now well need to obtain our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Our hitch height measurement is 20 3/4 inches. Keep in mind that this measurement may vary depending on tire size, hitch style or aftermarket accessories. Well take our ball mount and install it in the drop position first. more
